In a Nutshell
A laborious effort to make a reversible dress with pockets with a mix of woven and knit fabrics. The dress is made using a rectangular dress pattern from a Japanese sewing magazine. The blog post reviews 7 biggest challenges I had to face and overcome to finish this project.
Key Materials
The main materials for this DIY Fashion project were a printed synthetic woven (maybe rayon), taupe jersey knit, and black lace knit. The pockets were made of silk remnant and black satin polyester. All fabrics are rescued materials from local fashion manufacturer or neighbors.
