Re:
Collection
Would you remember the true value of textiles?
This thought is the driving force behind the creation of ReCollection, a project that aims to reclaim pre-owned clothes and textiles, recall meaningful relationships between people and textiles, and resume their history by extending their post-sale lifespan.
The refashioned garments are made out of vintage and pre-owned textiles, sourced from personal wardrobes and local estate sales. This one-of-a-kind mini collection is a collaboration with emerging fashion designer Jesus Romero. We blend our love of glamor and traditional craftsmanship to create a stylish collection loosely inspired by Japanese and Victorian aesthetics. ReCollection consists of 12 garments (in various states of completion) that can easily be mixed and matched with each other.
