In a Nutshell
My favorite cashmere sweater has its old unremovable stain covered with appliqué stitches, using cut lace embroidery sample from a high-end fashion house in New York. The sweater sleeves are also elongated on the armhole side for better fit.
Key Materials
The main materials for this Repair project are a cashmere sweater, beaded lace fabric sample repurposed as appliqué pieces, and synthetic faux fur remnant. Sewing machine and hand stitching notions complete the tool list.
