Manish Arora Spring/Summer 2015 collection is full of exuberance, color explosions, and hyper sensation. It’s definitely one of those fashion shows I really wished to have attended in person.
When I first got a teaser of four looks from Manish Arora Spring/Summer 2015 collection, I was hooked. I became addicted. I needed to see the whole collection. And when I did, I was thrilled! It’s like seeing endless outfits specifically made for gleefully traveling through outer space candy land. It’s a kaleidoscopic adventure, brilliantly tinted with essence of many countries blended together. I can see Japan, Egypt, India, United States, Saudi Arabia, France in various parts of this collection. Somehow, even with all of the euphoric combinations of pastel colors, reflective embroideries, and layers of printed sheers, Mr. Arora expertly executed the garments with clear purpose: travel. Joyously, even. And I think to myself, if only all travel attires are this bubbly, perhaps the world can be a better place.
It would’ve been so cool to see this runway in person. Manish Arora Spring/Summer 2015 collection has no shortage of major wow moments, so much so that I wonder if I’d go into a state of trance had I attended this showcase. It was held at Palais de Tokyo (13 Avenue du Président Wilson, 75116 Paris) on September 25, 2014. The designer is known for his expertise of using colors. He has worked with brands like Walt Disney, Swarovski, Barbie (I’m not surprised), and his designs have been worn by the likes of Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry. If you are as fascinated by his craftsmanship as I am, then you’d want to visit Manish Arora. If I go to Paris, I’d definitely want to stop by at his new store at Rue Rouget de Lisle. But for now, I will be content looking at these garments, over and over again.

At the end of the runway, Mr. Arora sent out 18 relaxed looks of white, the front printed with either an eye or a woman’s face with her tongue out. Perhaps it’s for bringing your mind back to reality after seeing all of the prior designs (enlightenment, anyone?). Out of the 18 t-shirt dresses, my favorites are shown below.

I do love the colours, although I’m not sure they would match my yellow skin tones.
Totally! I have yellow skin tone as well, and I think the garments with light blue or white undertones would be gorgeous :)
