The bridal couture showcase that is New York Bridal Fashion Week was last week. If you’re looking for wedding dresses (or maybe just love browsing bridal styles or beautiful white gowns in general), you may have seen, adored, gasped, and pinned like crazy pictures of the newest bridal collections from Vera Wang, Galia Lahav, Naeem Kahn, Kenneth Pool, or Monique Lhuillier. One designer you should not miss seeing and pinning is Isabelle Armstrong. This New York-based luxury bridal collection revealed its Spring 2015 collection on Friday, April 11.
I really like Isabelle Armstrong Spring 2015 Bridal Collection for its beautifully crafted lace and bead details and sometimes understated elegance. It’s romantic, gorgeous, and beautiful, but they are not too precious, not too much. The glamour and allure levels are…just right. Perhaps this is why on the first glance, the silhouettes of fit-and-flare, mermaid, trumpet, and ballgown shapes seem almost too common. But examine the dresses more and the details start to pop: the lace, the soft curves of the neckline, the back detail, the beads, the ruched organza, and those gorgeously soft ombre (LOVE THEM!). While the strapless styles seem to be more successful (and dominant), all of Isabelle Armstrong’s newest dresses will no doubt find themselves be object of desires of many brides-to-be, strapless or not. And while you’re at it, perhaps get those flower girl dresses, too!
