There’s much to love about Christina Economou Fall/Winter 2015 collection lookbook. The deep colors, gorgeous textures, and modern cuts are plenty to get hooked on. Photos courtesy of Totem Fashion.
Christina Economou Fall/Winter 2015 lookbook is one of those I find memorable. There’s something so attractive about her use of colors and textures in a wide range of garments worn by the model with blonde short bob hair on the lookbook. They look fresh, eclectic, and almost nonchalant, but at the same time very refined.
Perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised to see this combination of qualities coming from Christina, who attended Parsons and Istituto Marangoni (in Paris campus), where she won the 2011 International Award at London Graduate Fashion Week. She previously worked for Giambattista Valli and Greek Vogue before launching her own label in 2013.
Christina Economou focuses on “beautiful prints, rich fabrics and unconventional cuts.” One of her signatures is the use of printed silk fabrics made in the historic silk town of Soufli, Northern Greece.
She has sold her collections worldwide, and featured in Vogue, l’Officiel, and InStyle, among others. And Christina Economou will debut in the US with the Fall/Winter 2015 collection! Ah, if only I can go to Debut showroom in NYC to see the pieces.
But for now, I’m content browsing this collection…over and over again.
